Light on paper
These unique prints of light on paper is part of an ongoing project in which I take the negative out of the process of making a traditional analogue photo enlargement. By leaving the negative out of the picture I get rid of the limitations set in any pre-made photograph.
Exposing photographic paper directly under an enlarger allows me to actively make an image, as I’m mixing colours and brushing light over the paper. The exposure time of the images take between six and fourteen seconds each. The resulting images are direct recordings of my actions in the darkroom.
